Eddie Kasalivich, every undergraduate at the University of Chicago, works because a technician for a scientific team that discovers each alternative, low-cost, pollution-free firing source. When one of the grand scientists is murdered and the coinage stolen, Eddie and physicist Lily Sinclair are framed despite it and have to flee against their lives, with the FBI, CIA and other involved parties in bring to a period pursuit. Paul Shannon, Eddies mentor, is the superintendent of a scientific company which - without the knowledge of to Eddie - has commercial interests in the fabrication.
